Our team has visited the Jungle camp in Calais and Kara Tepe camp in Greece. This year we are planning a series of further trips to continue helping hands on.
The money will be spent in whatever way we can see to help reduce the suffering of refugees. We link with established charities and volunteers already on the ground to be guided by the best use of donations, and from our own experience we expect this to include shelters, food, blankets, and clothes. A tiny percentage may also be spent on transport for our team, although we try to cover all those expenses ourselves wherever possible.
